Intelligent Scene Recognition DSC-HX1
Intelligent Scene RecognitionSettings are optimised for each particular scene
Now it’s easier than ever to achieve great results in any kind of shooting environment. Simply activate Intelligent Scene Recognition and it will automatically determine the optimum settings for the current scene — even in difficult shooting conditions like dark and backlit environments. The camera swiftly activates one of five available settings (Backlight, Backlight Portrait, Twilight, Twilight Portrait, or Twilight using a tripod).

Intelligent Scene Recognition lets you shoot in the Auto or Advanced mode. The Auto mode takes a single shot with optimised automatic settings, while the Advanced mode takes two shots at different settings, allowing you to easily choose the better shot.

Auto Auto mode
In the Auto mode, the camera automatically determines the type of scene and takes a single shot with the optimal settings.
