excellent sound and simple setup for cheap price

replaced 8year old samsung soundbar and sub with 3d surround after the motherboard fried which was excellent for sound but this sony 5.1 wireless Bluetooth centre/l/r rear setup is another level, helicopters, police cars sound like they are outside the frontroom window and my gaming setup has another level of immersion because of all the extra sound effects that are now present all around, it has some hidden sttings also to adjust the distance and volume level of rear speakers to accommodate small medium and large sized living rooms

Sounded Great for a Month

The system sounded great, but now the rear speakers pop. I checked the connection and rebooted the system. Anyone have any idea about a warranty? How do I get working stuff?

Don't buy if you like deep Bass!

I have always liked Sony but I'm very disappointed! Does not matter if I'm using Bluetooth, HDMI or Optical the Bass is mediocre to poor. I get more Bass out of my mini Bluetooth speaker. Otherwise it's okay.

To improve the bass response, please ensure that the subwoofer is positioned on a solid floor rather than a hollow surface, and check that the connection line-of-sight between the soundbar and the subwoofer is clear of obstructions. You can also try pressing the "SW +" button on your remote control to manually increase the subwoofer volume level, or switch the sound mode to "Cinema" or "Music" to see if that enhances the lower frequencies. If these steps do not bring out the rich bass you are looking for, please visit our official support portal at https://www.sony.com/electronics/support for detailed troubleshooting guides and direct contact options with our technical experts.

I love the Sony I have always had faith in Sony A

Love the product But the cable for the woofer should be longer ! And I am hoping you have A three or four feet extension because the system sounds much better if the woofer has distance ! So I really could use two feet cable

Good entry level would recommend it

The blue light discount was a well appreciated extra. The soundbar is awesome. Especially with the two rear speakers making a full dound experience. They also help when watching TV at night with the sound down. The wireless connection made installation so simple. Also the soundbar turns on/off and volume with the tv remote. Good specification for most users.

In my case I couldn't use eARC hdmi port because it was already in use but optical port did the trick. Very good sound if you have a proper 5.1 content.

I brought this to replace a much older system that was failing and am so glad that I did. Simple to set up to the TV and the wireless back surround speakers (wireless to main unit but wired to sub amp) make a great difference to the sound. Brilliant three dimensional sound enhances whatever you are watching. Well worth its cost, which in itself was quite reasonable.

Glad I bought from Sony direct setting up was simple using optical drive cable provided sound is good gutsy base and other option cinema sound blue tooth etc for the price it's good value
