When using the USB connection, no sound can be heard.

If the turntable is connected to the computer via USB using the Sonic Foundry® Sound Forge® LE software, you will not be able to hear any music during the recording. This is normal operation.
In order to listen to the music while recording, use the audio connecting cord to output (analog) to a sound card on the computer or use an external receiver with an audio input.
