The Fn+F7 key combination fails to toggle the display settings.
The Fn+F7 keyboard combination can not be used to switch the display settings between LCD only, LCD+Monitor, or Monitor only. The feature is not supported or marked of the keyboard. Some Sony Notebook Utilities features are not available in the 64-bit version of the Windows Vista® operating system. Use the procedure below to change the display settings.
- On a blank area of the desktop, right-click and then click Graphics Properties.
- In the Notebook and Monitor window, under Operating Mode, click the down arrow and then click to select either Clone or Extended mode.
- Click the OK button.
