Invalid type error is displayed in the Reader (eBook) Library software when the Reader is connected to the computer.

    This error can be caused by content or an issue with the Reader. Follow these steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Disconnect the Reader from the computer.
    2. Hard reset the Reader.
    3. Turn on the Reader and connect it to the computer.
    4. Launch the Reader (eBook) Library software.

    If the error is not displayed, the issue is resolved.

    If the error is displayed and a second computer is available, install the eBook Library on the second computer and connect the Reader. If the error displays with the Reader connected to the second computer, the Reader will require service.

    If the error does not display on the second computer, uninstall the Reader (eBook) Library software and all associated files on the first computer. After installing the Reader (eBook) Library software, if the error appears the Reader will require service.

    If a second computer is not available, uninstall the Reader (eBook) Library software and all associated files. If the error appears after reinstalling the Reader (eBook) Library software, service may be required.  Go to Product Repair.
