How to manually select the video controller Performance mode.

    On computer models with the Dynamic Hybrid Graphics System (both the AMD Radeon Graphics and the Intel HD Graphics), the computer automatically switches the video controller to provide optimum performance depending on the software application being used. If you want to change the performance mode for specific software applications, such as video and image software applications, you can manually select the mode for each software application by following these steps:

    IMPORTANT: Before attempting this procedure, make sure the computer is in Speed mode. The computer must be in Speed mode in order to access the Catalyst Control Center.

    1. Click the Start button and in the Search field, type CCC, and then press the Enter key. Image
    2. In the Catalyst Control Center window, click to select the desired performance mode for the specific software application.
    3. Click the Apply button.
