If you receive this error with your Reader™ Digital Book, follow the steps below.
- Confirm that your Reader device has the latest firmware. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
- Check the version currently installed on your Reader device. Select your model from the list for instructions:
- If the firmware is not up-to-date, download and install the update.
- Once the update is installed, try to authorize again. If you receive the same error, perform a hard reset on the reader.
- Try to authorize again.
