Error Invalid data (-60511) when trying to authorize.

If you receive this error with your Reader™ Digital Book, follow the steps below.

  1. Confirm that your Reader device has the latest firmware. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
  2. Check the version currently installed on your Reader device. Select your model from the list for instructions:
  3. If the firmware is not up-to-date, download and install the update.
  4. Once the update is installed, try to authorize again. If you receive the same error, perform a hard reset  on the reader.
  5. Try to authorize again.
