Charms appear on an opaque overlay that appears on the right side of the screen. Think of this as the universal toolbar of the operating system.
You can access the charms in any one of three ways:
- Using the Mouse: Point to (but do not click) the lower-right or top-right corner of the screen, and then towards the center.
- Using the Keyboard shortcut: Press the Windows Logo + C key combination.
- Using a Touchscreen: Swipe from the top-right of the screen towards the center.
IMPORTANT: Not all computers will have a Touchscreen interface. To see if your computer does, check the computer specifications. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
There are a total of 5 charms: Search, Share, Start, Devices and Settings.
There is also a Notification Panel located on the bottom left side of the screen which displays the Current Time, Day, Date, Internet Connection Status and Battery Power Status.
