Can a Web-based e-mail account be used with Outlook, Windows Mail or other e-mail software?
The Outlook® software or other local e-mail clients can be used to send and receive messages using a Web-based e-mail address if the provider allows access to its e-mail servers. Some Web-based e-mail companies provide the e-mail server names and the proper access. Some provide this feature with the basic free service, while others offer it with premium accounts only. Others do not offer it at all.

NOTE: For information about other Web-based e-mail providers, visit the help and support section of the provider's Web site or contact the provider directly.
