If the video device displays an error code that begins with C or E and will not play a disc, check the following for its corresponding description and solution:
|C13 or C31||The disc may be incompatible.||Check the instruction manual of the player to confirm if the disc type is supported for playback. Manuals are posted on your model support page.|
|The disc may be dirty, scratched or incorrectly inserted preventing the laser from reading the disc.||Clean the disc and ensure the disc is inserted properly.|
|C32||Issue with the rotor table such as a fallen disc||Ensure any obstruction is removed. If the error continues, perform a system reset.|
|C81||An internal problem occurred with the device.||Service is required. Go to Product Repair.|
|E2000||May occur if a disc is not inserted properly or if there is a problem with the media being used causing the disc to be stuck.||Perform a system reset and then eject the disc.|
|E2700||Stuck disc or issue with the transport mechanism.||Perform a system reset and then eject the disc.|
If any other E or C error code appears, perform a power reset by following the steps below.
- Power off the unit.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Let the unit sit for approximately 3 minutes.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Power the unit back on.
- Resume normal operation.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required. Go to Product Repair.
