There is no picture (black screen) or sound on the television when trying to watch Live TV.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot this issue.

  1. Verify that all audio/video (A/V) or coaxial cables are connected properly.
  2. Verify that the television is set to the correct channel or video input for viewing Live TV programming from the digital network recorder.
  3. Verify that the digital network recorder is setup to receive an incoming signal.
  4. Turn off the digital network recorder.
  5. Unplug the power cord of the digital network recorder from the electrical outlet.
  6. Wait 15 seconds.
  7. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
  8. Turn on the digital network recorder.
  9. Is the issue is still not resolved, you may try changing the A/V or coaxial cables.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required. Go to Product Repair.
