The Voice Operated Recording (VOR) function is not working or causes recording issues.
The Integrated Chip (IC) recorders with VOR can be set to record only when sound is present. If the IC recorder detects a moment of silence, the unit will automatically go into a pause mode. If the VOR function is not working or if you are experiencing recording problems while the VOR is activated, try the following troubleshooting to resolve these issues:
- Ensure the VOR function is turned on and set the IC Recorder to the REC/PAUSE mode.
- Make sure to adjust the microphone sensitivity to the setting that works best in the type of environment where it will be used.
- If the recording is not satisfactory after setting the microphone sensitivity or if you are recording something of importance, set the VOR function to off.
If more specific information is required, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
