The DVD deck does not turn on when using the remote control.
The DVD deck will not turn on or operate unless the DVD deck is in the Standby mode.
NOTE: When the DVD deck is in the Standby mode, the STANDBY light will be continuously lit.
Power on the DVD deck by pressing the Power button on the DVD deck. After the DVD deck turns on, the remote control will work correctly. The DVD deck will enter the standby mode when the Power button is pressed on the remote control to turn the DVD deck off. The remote control will continue to operate correctly until the power button on the DVD deck is pressed again.
