The message Test screen confirmation may appear when activating the BRAVIA 4K Photo mode in the PlayMemories Studio™ app . Select Yes to exit the screen.
The following is a list of reasons why the test screen may appear and how to resolve it:
IMPORTANT: Before going through this, the PlayMemories Studio software needs to be updated to the latest version. See the PlayMemories Studio support page for further information about getting this software for your PlayStation® 3 game console.
- If the message Does not support BRAVIA 4K Photo appears on the TV screen, the amplifier or receiver is not passing the signal to the TV. Check to make sure the amplifier or receiver has a 4K pass through setting. If not, connect the PlayStation 3 game console to the 4K TV directly without the amplifier or receiver.
NOTE: After connecting the PlayStation 3 game console directly to the 4K TV, enable the BRAVIA 4K Photo mode.
- If the message To enable BRAVIA 4K Photo Playback appears, press the R1button on the PlayStation 3 controller. After a moment, the message Information / BRAVIA 4K Photo playback has been enabled may appear and the 4K TV will playback the 4K Photo correctly.
- If the message Information / The wrong key was pressed on the test screen or BRAVIA 4K Photo could not be enabled appears on the TV screen, connect the PlayStation 3 game console to the 4K TV directly without the amplifier or receiver.
