How Do I Set the Date and Time on My Android TV?

    You can set the correct date and time on your Android TV™ device manually or automatically.

    Set the Date and Time Automatically

    1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings or the Gear icon icon.
    3. Under the System Preferences category, select Date & time.
    4. Select Automatic date & time.
    5. Select On or Use network time.

    If your TV doesn't display the correct time, make sure to select the correct time zone.

    1. Press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings or the Gear icon icon.
    3. Under the System Preferences category, select Date & time.
    4. Select Automatic date & time.
    5. Select On or Use network time.
    6. Select Time.
      • Skip this step for the MASTER series.
    7. Select Set time zone.
    8. Select the appropriate city.

    Note: If you use a special network environment such as VPN, the time on the TV may differ from the time of the location or area where the TV is located.

    Set the Date and Time Manually

    Follow the steps below if your TV isn't connected to the internet.

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
    2. Select Settings or the Gear icon icon.
    3. Select Date & Time in the System Preferences category.
    4. Select Automatic date & time.
    5. Set to Off.
    6. Select Time.
      • Skip this step for the MASTER series.
    7. Select Set time.
    8. Set the correct time.
    9. Select Set time zone.
    10. Select your time zone and city.
