The IBM (International Business Machines) Corporation has announced that the IBM Cloud™ Video service (formerly known as Ustream®) will end the free streaming on September 17, 2018 and will, from that date, only provide paid service plans. For more details, check the notice on the IBM® website.

Two separate email announcements have been sent to the registered users regarding the change to this service.

If you've already upgraded to a paid plan, there will be no change to your service. If you decide not to upgrade, make sure to download all of your videos and data, because you won't be able to log in or access your content after September 17. Content remains on free accounts to be watched and downloaded for 30 days, but once the free service ends, you will not be able to log in and download these stored videos, nor will they be watchable by viewers.

More information is available in the

news alert.

Note: The IBM Cloud Video service isn't a service provided by Sony. The service is owned, provided, and controlled by IBM.

Has the IBM Cloud Video service become a paid plan only?

I bought the camera (Action Cam or Handycam) because I thought I could use the IBM Cloud Video service with no charge. I want to use a free streaming service.

I received an email from IBM, but I couldn’t understand it.

When did Ustream change to IBM Cloud?
