Clear Data and Clear Cache on your Android TV
If the apps on your Android TV™ don't work properly, clear cache and clear data to try to resolve the issue.
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- The next steps depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Apps → See all apps → Show system apps.
- Select Apps.
- Under System apps, select your preferred app.
- Select Clear cache, and then select OK.
- If the issue still occurs, move on to the next step.
- Select Clear data, and then select OK.
- if displayed, select CLEAR ALL DATA, and then OK.
Note: For H models televisions
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- Select See all apps
- Under See all apps, select an app you would like to clear data and cache.
- On the selected app, pull down the menu, and select Clear data or Clear cache.
Clear data and Clear cache require are performed on an app. - Press the Enter button.
