How do I set Dolby Dynamic Range?

    To set the Dolby Dolby Dynamic Range follow the next steps:

    1. Go to the Settings screen on the TV.
      • Using the Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later)
        1. Press the Quick Settings button on the remote control.
        2. Select Settings.
      • Using the HOME button
        1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
        2. Select Settings.
    2. The next steps depend on the menu options of your TV:
      • Select Display & SoundSoundVolume levelDolby Dynamic Range.
      • Select SoundSoundAdvanced settingsInput relatedDolby Dynamic Range.
    3. Select Standard or Compressed.
      • Standard mode takes the widest dynamic range because signals are directly played back. Quiet signals remain quiet and loud signals remain loud.
      • Compressed mode compresses the volume difference and increases the overall volume. The audio is easier to hear, regardless of the dynamic range of the sound source.

    Note: This setting affects Dolby Digital®, Dolby Digital Plus™, and Dolby® AC-4 sound sources.
