Why doesn’t Xperia 1 II have a memory stacked sensor?

We choose a 50% larger Exmor™ RS for Mobile image sensor of 1/1.7 inches*1 than its predecessor model; Xperia 1. The pixel pitch with Dual PD and phase differences AF sensor is about 2.2 times larger than Xperia 1's. It brings higher sensitivity images and faster AF, which covers about 70% of the imaging area regardless of the scene where light is low or limited.
*1：1/1.7 inch ExmorTM RS for Mobile image sensor is mounted in a 24mm camera.
