Dear Valued Sony Customer,
Some WI-SP510 wireless headphones may experience issues due to corrosion from liquid damage within the remote control component.
To address this issue, we will extend the warranty for Affected Units, for this issue, until November 30, 2022. For all other issues, the terms of the Limited Warranty that came with the product remain in effect.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation.
Affected Units may experience the following issues.
- Cannot power on
- Cannot charge
Black WI-SP510 headphones with serial numbers between 4000001 and 4043580
The model number is on the built-in rechargeable battery.
The serial number is on the right earbud.
If your black WI-SP510 with a serial number between 4000001 and 4043580 is experiencing this issue, please  Contact the Product Support team .
