Text magnification is helpful for people who have difficulty reading text on the TV screen because the text is too small.
Note:
- Similar functions are also available on the Internet Browser (must be downloaded)
- Zoom - Magnifies the text and all other elements.
- Text Size - Allows you to select Normal or Large text size.
- When the Text magnification function is set to ON, some edit options, including Move and Hide in Inputs, can't be used.
- When the Text magnification function is set to ON, some Quick Settings edit options can't be used.
Enable text magnification
- On the supplied TV remote, press the Quick Settings button.
- Press the Left arrow button to select Settings, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select System, then press the Enter button.
- Press the UP arrow or Down arrow button to select Accessibility, then press the Enter button.
- Press the UP arrow or Down arrow button to select Text magnification, then press the Enter button.
- Select Enable, then press the Enter button.
- Select OK, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Home button to exit.
Change the color of the text
- On the supplied TV remote, press the Quick Settings button.
- Press the Left arrow button to select Settings, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select System, then press the Enter button.
- Press the UP arrow or Down arrow button to select Accessibility, then press the Enter button.
- Press the UP arrow or Down arrow button to select Text magnification, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Configuration, then press the Enter button.
- Select Color, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select your preferred combination of text and background color from White on black, Black on white, and Yellow on black, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Home button to exit.
Change the duration of the appearance of text
- On the supplied TV remote, press the Quick Settings button.
- Press the Left arrow button to select Settings, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select System, then press the Enter button.
- Press the UP arrow or Down arrow button to select Accessibility, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Text magnification, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Configuration, then press the Enter button.
- Select Duration, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select your preferred duration from Very short to Very long, then press the Enter button.
- Press the Home button to exit.
