The fingerprint functionality is lost after upgrade to Android 11

    In the meantime, restart your Xperia phone as follows until the fixed is released.

    Restart your device

    1. Press and hold the Power button.

    2. In the next screen, tap Restart. The device restarts automatically.

    Note: If restarting the device doesn't help, please try to force restart your device.

    Force restart your device

    1. Press and hold the Power button and the volume up button at the same time until your device vibrates, and then release the buttons. The device restarts.

    Note: Your Xperia phone may fail to restart if the battery level is low. Connect your device to a charger and try restarting again.
