    You can purchase applications with a sub account if you charge the wallet on your master account and set the monthly spending limit for the sub account.

    You can purchase applications by connecting the supported camera to Wi-Fi.However, you cannot create an account with the camera. To create an account, you can use devices such as PS3 or Sony Tablet, as well as a computer.

    Where can I purchase a camera that supports applications sold in PlayMemories Camera Apps?

    Can I purchase applications with a smart phone or tablet?

    Can I purchase applications with a Mac?

    Can I purchase applications directly with the camera using public Wi-Fi environment?

    Can I purchase applications even if I do not have a camera?

    Can I install applications to any digital cameras?

    Applications can be installed only in cameras with the PlayMemories Camera Apps service supported. For the supported models, please check Get started on the top page of the PlayMemories Camera Apps website.

    Can I download the purchased application repeatedly?

    The number of devices where the application can be downloaded is specified in each application. You can download the purchased application repeatedly as long as the service/application is available to the same camera. However, you may need to purchase the application again if you reset the camera by executing a Factory Reset, or if you registered an account different from the one you used to purchase it.

    I cannot install the purchased application. What should I do?

    Download it again and install. If the problem persists, please contact us.

    How can I create a backup of the application installed in the camera.

    Camera applications cannot be saved in a computer or external memory as a backup. If the purchased application is accidentally deleted from the camera, you can download it again as long as the service/application is available.

    I have accidentally deleted the purchased application. What should I do to download and install it again?

    The purchased application can be downloaded again even if it is deleted as long as the service/application is available.

    1. Connect the camera to the computer, or access the PlayMemories Camera Apps website directly from the camera via Wi-Fi.
    2. Select the application you deleted.
    3. Select the Install button to download and install it again.


    How can I check if the installation of the application is completed?

    Check the Application menu on the camera. If the purchased application is added, the installation is completed.

    Where can I find the manual of the application?

    You can check the manual on the detailed description page of each application in the PlayMemories Camera Apps website.

    Please tell me how to check the available capacity of the memory where applications are installed.

    You can check it from the menu of the camera under Application Management then select Manage and Remove. Alternatively, access the PlayMemories Camera Apps website from the computer, connect the camera via USB, and select the [Connect your camera] button to check the capacity.

    I have multiple units of the same camera. How can I purchase the application to install it in all the units?

    With one purchase, you can install the application in up to 10 units* of the supported camera. To install in more than 10 units, finish installing in 10 units first, and then purchase the same application again.

    * The number of cameras, into which the application can be installed with one purchase, may be different depending on applications.

    I got the supported camera from my friend. Can I use the application purchased by my friend?

    Applications can be used only by those who purchased them. Applications are not transferable. If you got the camera from others, execute a Factory Reset.

    Can I transfer the purchased application to others?

    Applications can be used only by those who purchased them. Applications are not transferable. If you give your camera to others, we recommend resetting the camera by executing a Factory Reset from the Setup menu on the camera to delete your account information and applications.
