Keeping in touch with Sony will allow you to get the very best out of your VAIO® product. Sony has developed and installed VAIO Update for you so you can enjoy the best from your VAIO computer.

Through VAIO Update we will feature updates for preinstalled drivers, utilities, and other Sony software. VAIO Update will keep your VAIO computer up to date and will offer or even automatically install, the latest patches so you don't need to worry about that yourself.

You can find VAIO Update preinstalled on VAIO computers sold starting in 2005.

For our more recent VAIO computers this function is integrated in VAIO Care™. You can start VAIO Care by pressing the dedicated Assist button on your VAIO computer.

For older models, or VAIO computers that no longer have VAIO Update installed, you can also find the updates on your model's Drivers & Software page. We recommend you check for updates regularly to make sure your system is kept up to date.
