XBR-55X930D and XBR-65X930D Power Cord

Dear Valued Sony Customer,

Thank you for your recent purchase of a model XBR-55X930D or XBR-65X930D Sony® 4K HDR television. We have learned that a tag on the DC power cord (the cord that connects the AC adapter to the TV) of some units is mislabeled as In-Wall Rated. The DC power cord should have a tag on it that states, Not For In-Wall Use.

Our main concern is that you do not mount the TV with the DC power cord installed through the wall. It is perfectly fine to mount the TV so long as the DC power cord is not installed through the wall. This DC cord is not meant to be permanently situated in an enclosed space. Please be advised that this mislabeling does not meet our high standards of quality and we apologize for any inconvenience.
