How to display the volume of the receiver on the TV.
NOTE: All Sony® receivers do not have the capability to send a video signal and display information to a TV. Refer to the supplied manual or specification information for model-specific information.

The volume of the receiver is only displayed on the TV if the Graphic User Interface (GUI) menu of the receiver is on.
NOTE: The receiver must be connected to the TV using an HDMI® cable in order for the GUI to be enabled.
- Using the remote supplied with the TV, press the Input button or TV/Video button to select the correct HDMI input.
- Using the remote supplied with the receiver, press the GUI Mode button until GUI ON appears on the display.
- Press the HOME or MENU button if the GUI does not appear on the screen.
NOTE: If the GUI still does not appear press the AMP button and then the HOME or MENU button. - Press the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the volume. The volume bar of the receiver is displayed on the screen.
