How to create tracks from vinyl records that have been ripped using the Sonic Foundry® Sound Forge® software.

The Sound Forge software has a mark feature that creates a new track when a mark is added. To add a mark, follow these steps:

1. Open the Sound Forge software.
2. Select the file that you want to mark.

   NOTE: Audio files will be displayed on the page.

3. Click on Special and then choose Insert Mark.

Marking the audio file will put a new track on the file. This is great for those whose music has been ripped from vinyl records into a computer that does not have the ability to make tracks.
