Follow this procedure to troubleshoot if the cassette compartment will not open or the tape is stuck and will not eject.
WARNING: There is a risk of hardware damage. Do not attempt to forcibly open the cassette compartment or remove the tape from the cassette compartment. Doing so may damage the product and tape.
- Ensure the cassette player is not set to the PAUSE mode.
- Ensure the cassette player is in the STOP mode and that the tape is not playing.
- Attempt to open the cassette compartment and remove the tape.
NOTE: If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service will be required .
