What does support for 96 kHz/32 bit float audio enable?
Playback of video files with 96 kHz/32 bit float audio is now possible.
Limitations
- Sound separation is not available for files with 96 kHz/32 bit float audio. Errors will occur if this is attempted.
- Peak audio levels will be clipped if the file is exported (transcoded) to a video format not supporting 96 kHz/32 bit float audio, due to conversion from 32 bit float to 24 bit/16 bit (integer) audio.
Example format: XAVC Intra, XAVC Long, XDCAM, SStP, AVC, etc.
