The installation of the PlayMemories Home™ software is cancelled if the Internet is disconnected during the installation or if the camera was not connected to the Internet before the installation. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below.
IMPORTANT: Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the status of the installation after completing each step.
- When the computer is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi® connection, the installation of the PlayMemories Home software may fail when the connection is disrupted due to poor signal reception. Use a LAN cable instead for more stabled connection.
NOTE: When getting the message Installation cancelled because communication with the network was lost. Please check your network connection 0101-1007-4032, turn off the antivirus software while PlayMemories Home is being installed.
- Download the PlayMemories Home installer, which does not require Internet connection during installation.
