What file formats does the Content Transfer software support for transferring music or image files?

The type of files supported by the Content Transfer software will vary based on the device being used.

• If you are using a Walkman® player as a USB device, you can transfer all the files that can be played back on your Walkman player. The types of file supported will vary from one Walkman model to another. View the operations guide for this model-specific information. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
• If you are using a USB memory device as a USB device, you can transfer the following types of files:
  • .mp3
  • .wma
  • .mp4
  • .m4a
  • .avi
  • .wmv
  • .jpg

NOTE: These are the file types supported by the Content Transfer software. Which types of files you can transfer will also depend on your model of car radio. Refer to the user manual for more information on file type support.
