    This utility installs an upgraded program for a OpenMG™ Jukebox application upgraded to version 2.2, through the internet or the Upgrade Kit CD ROM, to resolve the issue where a song playback on the computer stops when music files (ATRAC3) recorded using OpenMG™ Jukebox v1.x/2.0 and OpenMG™ Jukebox v2.2 are registered in the same playlist.

    Before You Start


    Important Notes
    • This update applies to the OpenMG™ Jukebox version 2.2, SonicStage® for VAIO versions 1.0 and 1.1, and SonicStage® Premium version 1.1 applications. If you have installed OpenMG™ Jukebox v2.2 on your VAIO computer that also contains SonicStage version 1.0 or 1.1, or SonicStage Premium version 1.1, and install this update, the OpenMG™ Jukebox version 2.2 and SonicStage versions 1.0 or 1.1, or SonicStage Premium version 1.1 applications will be updated simultaneously.
    • During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
    • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

    Download and Installation Instructions
    1. Download the OMGLP-02-01-18-01.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the OMGLP-02-01-18-01.EXE file to begin the installation.
      NOTE: If the message "You need to stop OpenMG application to install OpenMG Limited Patch. Do you want to install OpenMG Limited Patch now?" is displayed on the "OpenMG Limited Patch Installer" window, click Yes.
    3. At the "Install is done" box, click OK.

    The update for the OpenMG™ V2.2 application is complete.
    Confirm a Successful Installation


    To confirm that the update installed successfully, please select the appropriate operating system and follow the steps.
    Microsoft® Windows® 98 Microsoft®, Windows®, 98SE, and Microsoft® Windows® ME Operating Systems
    1. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
    2. At the "Control Panel" window, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
    3. At the "Add/Remove Programs" box, click the "Install/Uninstall" tab. If "OpenMG Limited Patch 3.0.01-02-01-18-01" is listed, your update was successful.

    Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional Operating System
    1. Click Start, click Control Panel and click the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.
    2. At the "Add/Remove Programs Properties" box, click the "Change or Remove Programs" button. If the "OpenMG Limited Patch 3.0.01-02-01-18-01" is listed, your update was successful.
