    IMPORTANT! This update is available only by performing a Network Upgrade.

    This utility updates the NAC-SV10i software to version 1.02.301, and adds support for the Slacker® Personal Radio Streaming Service.

    Before You Start

    Check the Software Version

    1. On the remote control, press the "SETTINGS" button.

    2. At the "Settings" screen, use the arrow buttons to select "Device Details", and then press the "ENTER" button.
    3. At the "Device Details" screen, use the arrow buttons to select "System Software", and then press the "ENTER" button.
    4. If the version listed is 1.02.301, or higher, the Network Audio System/Server does not need this update.

    Important Notes

    • IMPORTANT: Do not power off the unit or disconnect the network cable while the update operation is in progress.
    • To perform this update, the Network Audio Device must be connected to an active Internet connection.
    • If the Sleep Timer is On when the update is performed, it will automatically be turned Off.
    • If you have the RMN-U1 Network Remote Controller, you will need to update the RMN-U1 firmware to version 1.00.303 or higher.
    • It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

    How to Perform the Network Update

    IMPORTANT: Do not power off the unit or disconnect the network cable while the update operation is in progress.

    1. On the remote control, press the "SETTINGS" button.

    2. At the "Settings" screen, use the arrow buttons to select "System Update", and then press the "ENTER" button.
    3. At the "Playback and network functions cannot be used during the setup. Press ENTER to continue." message, press the "ENTER" button.
      Note: If a down arrow (Down Arrow) is displayed the message is continued on the next page. To view the entire message press the down arrow on the remote control.
    4. At the "Found latest update. Press ENTER." screen, press the "ENTER" button.
      Note: If there is no update available, "No update required." appears.
    5. When the "System Update" message appears, use the arrow buttons to select "OK", and then press the "ENTER" button.
    6. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
    7. Please follow the on-screen prompts carefully to complete the installation.
      Note: The update process may take up to 20 minutes to complete depending on various factors such as the size of the update, connection speed, etc.
    8. The unit will automatically restart when the system update is complete.
