The sound does not match the picture on the screen.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot why the sound does not match the picture on the screen.
IMPORTANT:
- Not all Blu-ray® Disc players and Home theater systems have the ability to adjust the synchronization between audio and video using the A/V Sync feature. To see if your Blu-ray Disc player or Home theater system has A/V Sync feature, check the specification or the supplied manual.
- If additional model specific information is needed to perform any of the steps below, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the product.
- Make sure the latest software (firmware) update has been downloaded and installed on your Blu-ray Disc player or Blu-ray Disc Home theater system.
Based on the specific button on the supplied remote control, select the appropriate process to adjust the delay between the picture and sound using the A/V Sync feature.
- For a supplied remote control with a SYSTEM MENU button:

- Using the supplied remote control, press SYSTEM MENU button.
- Press up arrow or down arrow button repeatedly until A/V SYNC appears in the front panel display.
- Press Enter button.
- Press up arrow or down arrow button to adjust the delay between the picture and sound.
NOTES:
- You can adjust between 0 millisecond (ms) to 300 ms.
- If the sound is slower than the picture, adjust the A/V Sync setting to 0 ms.
- If the sound is faster than the picture, adjust the A/V Sync by starting at 0 ms and moving towards 300 ms until the issue is resolved.
- Press the Enter button to confirm selection.
- Press the SYSTEM MENU button to exit the menu screen.
- For a supplied remote control with an OPTIONS button:

- When the BD/DVD, USB, HDMI 1, or HDMI 2 function is selected, follow the steps below.

- Using the supplied remote control, press the OPTIONS button.
- Press up arrow or down arrow button to select A/V SYNC.
- Press Enter button.
- Press left arrow or right arrow button to adjust the delay between the picture and sound.
NOTES:
- You can adjust between 0 millisecond (ms) to 300 ms.
- Other Blu-ray Disc player or Blu-ray Disc Home theater system can only be adjusted between 0 ms to 120 ms. Refer to the instruction manual for information.
- If the sound is slower than the picture, adjust the A/V Sync setting to 0 ms.
- If the sound is faster than the picture, adjust the A/V Sync by starting at 0 ms and moving towards 120 ms or 300 ms until the issue is resolved.
- Press Enter button to confirm the selection.
- When the TV function is selected, follow the steps below.

- Using the supplied remote control, press OPTIONS button.
- Press up arrow or down arrow button repeatedly until A/V SYNC appears in the front panel display.
- Press Enter button.
- Press up arrow or down arrow button to adjust the delay between the picture and sound.
NOTES:
- You can adjust between 0 millisecond (ms) to 300 ms.
- Other Blu-ray Disc player or Blu-ray Disc Home theater system can only be adjusted between 0 ms to 120 ms. Refer to the instruction manual for information.

NOTES:
- If the audio and video are still not synchronized or out of sync when listening to the sound from the TV on the Blu-ray Disc Home theater system, connect the optical audio cable from the cable box or satellite receiver directly to the home theater system instead of the TV.
- Use either an optical cable or HDMI® cable in order to maximize the audio capabilities.
