If you are trying to play a movie through the Playstation™ Network (PSN) service (formerly known as Sony Entertainment Network™ service) and the error message that states Cannot play this protected content on this display appears, one of the devices or cables being used does not support the High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) standard. Check the manual supplied with each device being used to make sure that it is HDCP compliant.
NOTE: If the problem persists after verifying that the equipment being used is HDCP compliant, try replacing the HDMI® cable that is being used.
