Unable to install version 8.0.0.171 of the Atheros Wireless LAN Driver using the VAIO Care software.
NOTE: Not all computers have an internal Atheros® WLAN adapter. To see if your computer uses this adapter, check the specifications or the instructions manual supplied with the product.
If you install the operating system in-box Atheros WLAN driver version 2.0.0.74, you will not be able to reinstall version 8.0.0.171 of the driver using the reinstall application and drivers option in the VAIO Care™ software.
To install version 8.0.0.171 of the Atheros WLAN driver, download and install it from Sony® eSupport website.
