Compatibility issue with Nero® Burning ROM Software and the PCGA-DSM5 Docking Station
There is a known compatibility issue with Nero® Burning ROM Versions 5.5.7.2, and 5.5.8.2 and the PCG-R505xx series docking station model PCGA-DSM5. Use of Nero® Burning ROM software can cause damage to the firmware of the PCGA-DSM5 docking station.
Sony and Ahead Software are investigating this issue.
If Nero® Burning ROM has been installed and hangs (freezes) during the "SCSI/IDE" search, and the optical drive is still visible in "My Computer" after a restart, please uninstall Nero® Burning ROM to prevent damage to the docking station.
