Please be advised that connecting a battery-powered external device, or one with a built-in battery like a third-party light, to the LIGHT (D-Tap) connector of an XDCAM Shoulder Camcorder may internally damage the camcorder. The camcorder’s LIGHT (D-tap) connector is for power output only and is not to be used with any device that sends voltage to the connector.
