There is no sound or the Bluetooth connection fails when the soundbar or home theater system is connected to a Windows computer
When experiencing issues with connecting your computer to a soundbar or home theater system via Bluetooth®, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem. Please note that compatibility between your computer and the soundbar or home theater system can't be guaranteed. For specific details regarding your computer's specifications or operation, contact the computer manufacturer or software company.
- Check the following:
- Make sure the computer's volume is not muted.
- Make sure the device you want to connect is set as a playback device on your computer.
- In the Sound settings of the computer, check that the device is set as Default Device.
- Stop the music software on your computer, and restart it.
- Turn off the Bluetooth function on the computer once, then turn it on and try reconnecting to the device again.
- Delete the device information on your computer and perform the Bluetooth pairing again.

If the issue is still not resolved after completing Step 1, follow these steps to set the Bluetooth Connection Quality setting to Priority on Stable Connection.
- Open the BRAVIA Connect app.
- Select Settings → Bluetooth Settings.
- In the Bluetooth Connection Quality setting menu, select Priority on Stable Connection, then tap OK.
