As part of the normal operation of the television, the BRAVIA® Sync feature also known as the Consumer Electronic Control or CEC feature will not automatically power on a Home Theater system, Blu-ray Disc® player, DVD player or other BRAVIA Sync capable device that also has an active standby feature. In this case, the component will have to be manually powered on each time.
