Use the INTERNET BROWSER on an Android TV

Follow the steps provided to access the app depending on your TV operating system (OS).

• Android™ 8.0 Oreo™ OS
  1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select INTERNET BROWSER.
• Android 7 Nougat and earlier
  1. Press the HOME button.
  2. Under Apps, select INTERNET BROWSER.

1. Press the up arrow button repeatedly until the cursor reaches the address bar in the upper part of the screen.

   

2. Press the Enter button.
3. Type in your desired search term or website using the on-screen keyboard.
4. Select GO or press the right arrow button.

   

1. On the remote control, use the up, down, left and right arrow buttons to navigate the TV screen.
   • If using a touchpad remote control of TVs manufactured in 2015, swipe down or up along the right side of the touchpad to go up or down the page.

2. Press the Enter button to select the desired item.

• To reload webpages, move the cursor to the top part of the screen and select the reload button.
• To go to the next web page, move the cursor to the top part of the screen and select the right arrow for next, or press the BLUE button on your remote control.
• To go back to a previous web page, move the cursor to the top part of the screen and select the left arrow for back, or press the YELLOW button on your remote control.

1. Load the page that you want to register to a bookmark.
   • Method 1:

     1. Using the remote control, move the cursor to the top part of the screen, and select Bookmarks.

        

     2. Select Add to Bookmark.

        

   • Method 2:

     1. Using the remote control, move the cursor to the upper part of the screen, and select the Vewd icon.

        

     2. On the menu list, select Add to Bookmark

2. At the Add Page to Bookmarks screen, select OK.

1. Using the remote control, move the cursor to the upper part of the screen to select the Vewd icon.
2. On the menu list, select Settings.
3. Under the Settings menu list, select Clear history.

3. Under the Settings menu list, select Accessibility Mode Off.
   • It will change to Accessibility Mode On after you select this option.

1. Using the remote control, move the cursor to the upper part of the screen to select the Vewd icon.
2. On the menu list, select Settings.
3. Under the Settings menu list, select Always Show Menu Bar Off.
   • It will change to Always Show Menu Bar On after you select this option.

1. Move the cursor toward the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and select the Vewd icon.

   

2. On the menu list, scroll down and select Exit.

   

3. Under the Exit screen, select OK.
