If the TV image is distorted (horizontal lines) across the bottom section of the screen when watching TV, but not on the Home menu or streaming apps (Netflix®, Amazon Prime™, etc.), follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Restart using the TV remote control
Follow the steps below or press and hold the POWER button at the back of your TV to restart it.
- On the supplied IR remote control, press and hold the POWER button for about five seconds until Power off appears on the TV screen.
Note: The TV automatically turns off and then back on after one minute. If it doesn't turn on, press the POWER button on the remote.
- Check if it resolves the issue.
Restart by unplugging the power cord
- Turn off the TV.
- Unplug the power cord for two minutes, and then plug it back in.
- Turn on the TV.
- Check if it resolves the issue.
