No sound from the soundbar connected to the TV using optical cable (TV speakers are muted)
This article explains how to adjust your TV’s settings to ensure sound is properly output through a connected soundbar using an optical cable, follow these steps to adjust your speaker settings.
Make sure your TV's Speakers setting is set to Audio System.
- On the TV remote control, press the
Quick Settings button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Display & Sound.
- Select Audio Output.
- Select Speakers.
- Select Audio System.
Notes: If you prefer sound from your TV speakers instead, change this setting back to TV Speakers.
