I didn't say "OK Google" but the Google Assistant came up

- If the phrase OK Google comes from the TV, for example during a commercial, the TV's built-in microphone might react to it. Press the BACK button on the remote control to cancel the Google Assistant ready status.
- Make sure your TV position setting is properly set for either wall mount or table-top stand.
TV position setting:
- Open the Settings screen:
- Using the Quick Settings button:
- On the supplied remote, press the
(Quick settings) button.
- Select
Settings.
- On the supplied remote, press the
- Using the Home button:
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- Using the Quick Settings button:
- Select Sound or select Display & Sound, and then select Sound.
- Select TV position.
- Select Table-Top stand or Wall Mount.
- Open the Settings screen:
Notes:
- Google Assistant may also pop up after hearing the phrase OK Google from a TV broadcast if the Accessibility (Screen Reader or Talkback) setting is on.
- If you don't use or want to use Google Assistant, disable Google Assistant detection.
