If this error appears on your TV screen, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Note: When restarting with the remote or menu, the TV will automatically power off and back on after a short time.

    1. Disconnect the USB device and Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL™) devices from your TV.
    2. Reconnect the USB device to your TV.
      • Ensure you don't connect the USB device to a USB Hub.
      • Try to connect the USB device to a different USB port.
    3. Use an external power supply, such as a phone charger, if you're using a Hard Disk Drive (HDD).
    4. If the issue still occurs then restart or power reset your TV.

The menu items and steps may vary, so follow the steps that best match your TV menu:

      • Restart the TV with the supplied remote control (easiest):
        • Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart
        • Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen
      • Restart using the menu. On the remote:
        • Press  Quick Settings → SettingsSystemRestartRestart
        • Press HOME → navigate to SettingsAboutRestartRestart
        • Press HOME → navigate to SettingsDevice PreferencesAboutRestartRestart
      • If the power cord is accessible:
        • Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet, wait two minutes, then plug the power cord back in.

If the error still appears after you reset your TV, the USB device may be damaged. Try a different USB device.
