How can I test the picture and sound quality of my TV?

    Is the picture not quite like it used to be or the sound just doesn't seem right? If you feel there is something off with the picture or sound, there's an easy way to verify if something is wrong.

    Perform the picture and sound test

    1. On the supplied TV remote, press the HELP button.

      You can also open the Help screen through your TV's Home menu:

      • Select HOMEApps or the Appsdotted red circle icon → Help.
        • For TVs with Android™ 7.0 or lower, Select HOMEHelp question mark icon .
    2. Under Top support solutions, select Problem diagnosis.
      • If this option isn't available, proceed to the next step.
    3. Select Picture/Sound symptoms.
    4. Select Start.
      • Your TV plays a series of images and sounds to test the display and audio.
      • To cancel the test, press the BACK button on the remote.
    5. The message Picture and sound test is complete! appears on your TV screen at the end of the test.
    6. Select Finish to end the test.
      • To repeat the test, select Restart the test or Start again.
