The option to turn off or change the Info Banner settings vary depending on the TV model. Choose your model type for information on these settings:

Follow these steps to change the Info Banner settings of your TV:
- On the supplied remote control, press the
(Quick Settings) or HOME button (depending on the model). - Select
Settings. - The next steps vary depending on your TV menu options:
- Select Channels & Inputs → Info banner → set to disable.
- Select Watching TV → Info banner → select Hidden to disable.
- Select Channels → Info banner → select Hidden or Off to disable.
- Select Channel setup → Info banner → select Off to disable.

IMPORTANT: Not all models have the option to hide or turn off the Info Banner function.
Models that have the option to hide the Info Banner
- 2015 models: KDL-32R500C, KDL-40R550C, KDL-48R550C
- 2016 models: KDL-32W600D, KDL-40W650D, KDL-48W650D, KDL-55W650D
- 2017 models: KD-50X690E, KD-60X690E, KD-70X690E, KD-43X720E, KD-49X720E, KD-55X720E
How to hide the Info Banner
- On the TV remote control, press the HOME button.
Note: If your TV remote does not have a Home button, it's probably a model not intended for these steps, check for and press the MENU button instead. An Info Banner option may be available in the Setup menu. Check your TV

for model-specific details.
- Select Settings.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Setup.
Note: If Setup is not shown, skip this step. - Select Info Banner.
- Select Hidden (other options are Large or Small).
Notes:
- Available options may differ depending on your region or country.
- The Info Banner cannot be completely turned off or disabled on some TV models.
- Some TVs have an On and Off setting in the General Settings or Setup menu. However, the Off setting may not completely disable the banner but only minimizes the amount of information displayed in the banner.
- For some models, each time the DISPLAY or
Info button is pressed, the Info Banner may appear or disappear. If you leave the Info Banner on the screen, it displays for only 30 seconds and then disappears on its own. - If model-specific information is required, refer to the operating instructions for your TV.
