Android TV: Find the Model name, Serial number, and Software version of your TV

You can find the model name, serial number, and software version of your Android TV™ or Google TV™ in the following:

On the original packaging

• Included in the box is a User Manual where you can also find the Model number.

On the product stickers

You can normally find these stickers at the back of the TV, or engraved on the TV front panel.

• 1. Model number
• 2. Serial number

TV's system information

Android TV and Google TV:

1. Press the HELP button on the remote control.
   
   Note: If your remote control does not have a HELP button, refer to the NOTE below step 2.
2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
   • Select System information in the Status & Diagnostics or Troubleshooting and system information category.
   • Select Contact & Support.
   • For W8, X7 series: The model name is displayed at the bottom left of the screen.

   The screen varies depending on your TV model. The following are examples.
   
   

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
   For Google TV models: Press the (Quick settings) button on the remote control.
2. Proceed according to your TV menu options:
   • Select Settings → Help and Feedback → Help → Status & Diagnostics → System information.
   • Select Apps → Help → System information in the Status & Diagnostics or Troubleshooting and system information Category.
   • Select Help → System information in the Troubleshooting and system information Category.
   • Select Settings → BRAVIA Settings → Customer Support → Contact & Support.

For TVs other than Android TV:

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select System Settings or Product Support.
4. Select Customer Support or System Information.
5. For the TV models released after 2015: Select Product Information.
