You can turn off the LED light on the front of your TV by setting the Illumination LED to Off. Follow the steps according to your TV type.
Google TV™ models
For Google TV™ models, you can customize the behavior of the LED indicators to better suit your preferences. Follow these steps to access and modify the LED indicator settings:
- Press the
Quick Settings button on your remote control to open the quick access menu.
- Navigate to and select
Settings.
- Scroll down and choose System.
- Select LED Indicator. Here, you can adjust the following:
- Voice detection status: Turning off this option will disable the status indicator for the built-in microphone.
- Operational response: Turning off this option will disable the white LED light that indicates when the remote control is operational.
Android TV™ models
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Device Preferences → LED Indicator → Operational response or Illumination LED → Off.
- Select Device Preferences → Illumination LED → Off.
- Select LED Indicator → Illumination LED → Illumination LED → Off.
- Select Illumination LED → Off.
Other LCD / LED TV models
- TVs released in 2015 or after
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings or Preferences.
- Select Set-up.
- Select LED Indicator.
- Select Off.
- TVs released in 2013 and 2014
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Select System Settings.
- Select General Set-up or Preferences.
- Select Illumination LED or Front Panel Illumination.
- Select Off.
