How do I set the date and time on my TV?

With the TV receiving a broadcast signal or connecting to the network, follow these steps to check the setting:

1. Access the Settings screen
   • If the remote control has a Quick Settings button: press the (Quick Settings) button and select Settings.
   • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button: press the HOME button and select Settings.
2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
   • Select System → Date & time → Automatic date & time.
   • Select Device Preferences → Date & time → Automatic date & time.
   • Select Date & time → Automatic date & time.
3. Set Automatic date & time to ON, Use broadcast time, or Use network time (Use network-provided time).
   Notes:
   • The available options can vary depending on the TV.
   • The KD W830K and KD X75K series only retrieve the Date and Time from the network.
   • If your TV has the Time synchronization setting in Date & time, set it to Use broadcast provided time or Use network-provided time.

If the time is not displayed correctly, there is a possibility that the Time Zone setting is not correct. Follow these steps to check the setting:

1. Access the Settings screen.
   • If the remote control has a Quick Settings button: press the (Quick Settings) button and select Settings.
   • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button: press the HOME button and select Settings.
2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
   • Select System → Date & time → Set time zone.
   • Select Device Preferences → Date & time → Time → Set time zone.
     Note: If Time does not show, select Set time zone.
   • Select Date & time → Set time zone.
   • Select Date & time → Time → Automatic time zone → Off, then select Set time zone.
3. Select your location.

Note: If you use a particular network environment such as a VPN, the time on the TV may differ from the time of the location (area) where the TV is located.
